Should I Obtain a Lawyer if I Get Hurt on Someone Else’s Property?
Do I Have to Stay Out of Work After an Accident in New Jersey?
Our advice to folks who ask us whether or not they should stay out of work after an accident is not to stay out of work just because you think it may help or hurt your case. If you can go to work, we tell you go to work. If going to work aggravates or causes you a great amount of pain or discomfort, then we tell you to stop work. Essentially, we ask you to follow the guidance of your physician. If your physician says you should stay out of work, stay out of work. If your physician says you should go back to work, go back to work. But don’t stay out of work because you think it’s going to enhance the value of your case.
