Dog Bite Damages
If you or a loved one, specifically a child, is bitten by a dog, it’s important to understand, that although the puncture wounds and the scars are significant in evaluating your case, and many times it depends on the location of the scars when you’re talking about how much the case is ultimately going to be worth. For example, the scar in the face of a child is worth substantially more money than a scar in the back of the calf of a 70-year-old man. But we regard as equally important the mental anguish, fears and psychological damage that a child may suffer if they’re bitten by a dog. There may be fears of animals that may be left a lifetime. And these are things that have to be brought to the attention of insurance companies when it comes to trying to settle these cases and the juries in the event that these cases are tried.
