Prepping for Your Deposition

shutterstock_238700395Your attorney should take care of preparing for your deposition by asking you every conceivable question you can be asked by your adversary. In other words, by the other attorney who generally represents an insurance company. That generally begins with how the accident occurred and follows with what type of medical treatments you received and generally precedes to a question that goes like this: Is there anything you can’t do now as a result of this accident and injury that you could do before? And the next question after that is, is there anything you can still do but you can only do with pain and discomfort? Now these are questions that are extremely important because of the questions that are going to be asked to you in court in front of a jury. You better make sure that your answers are exactly the same when you testify before that jury as they were to deposition. So your attorney should be going through every one of those things with you prior to a trial.
